Diabetes & Pregnancy
Gestational Diabetes
Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that only shows up in pregnancy, around the 2nd or 3rd trimesters, and usually goes away after your baby is born. Your diabetes team, which includes a Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse and an Endocrinologist will help you learn how to stay healthy with Gestational Diabetes. Here is some information to get started.

Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and Becoming Pregnant
Whether you are planning on getting pregnant or if you have recently found out that you are pregnant and also have diabetes, it is best to be in touch with your diabetes team. With pre-existing diabetes, there may need to be some changes to how your diabetes is managed to keep you and your baby in the best health. If you are not already connected with a diabetes team, you are welcome to call to book an appointment at any time.
