Sick Days, Tests, Procedures or Surgery
What if I am sick?
If you are sick it is very important to manage your diabetes. Sometimes your diabetes medication needs to be adjusted depending on your blood sugar readings. Continue testing your blood sugars regularly. Contact your physician and/or diabetes team if you have questions or concerns.
